In addition to DJ and emcee services, Jorgenson Music features our own live music performed as The JORGENSONS who offer a wide variety of acoustic and soft electric guitar as an entertaining performance or as humble background music.
Wolfgang and Jan Jorgenson have diverse interests and a long musical history that includes reggae, Baroque, classic country, folk and good ole rock and roll. When Jan dug her first guitar out of a dumpster in 1990 and began playing camp songs to audiences of 100+ kids, it began a lifelong journey of acoustic music adventures. Wolfgang is trained in classical music and has been a member of a dozen bands of different genres. He joined Jan's "Sunset Porch Sessions" in 2017, bringing his talent for leads and harmonies to turn the Americana songs into acoustic melodies you'll want to sing along to.
Wolfgang Jorgenson has a background in audio engineering for small and large events so every gig is perfect. The music doesn't need to be loud to be heard - it should be crisp and clear, and THAT's what the Jorgensons provide. (And when you want it REALLY loud AND crisp, we can do that, too!)
Jan's work in communications and digital media adds a visual experience to keep the audience engaged, even when the environment is noisy. Their big screen TV is part of the show, displaying song information and images, and complements Jan's storytelling.
